The House

This house of ours is quite a challenge. We've got 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Sounds simple, right? Well, 1 bathroom is pretty much in the dining room. Not so cool. The other bathroom is tiny and has dry rotted walls, pink tile, and flowered wallpaper. Two of the bedrooms are great. Spacious. Closets aren't walk-ins but they have built-ins that make maximum use of the space. 3rd bedroom is really a hallway through the middle of the house. We've made it into an office/storage room for now. Our bedroom is in..."THE LODGE"...oh yes, it's as lovely as you might think. Brown paneled walls. Fireplace with John Wayne's picture on the mantle. Camping supplies. More camping supplies. Few more camping supplies. The Lodge is actually an add-on. Low ceiling, leftover parts piecing it together. We have a grand vision of remodeling the lodge and creating a master bedroom masterpiece. More on the kitchen tomorrow. I'm just starting to dream of what can be.
