Luke

Luke is my 5 yr old nephew. Check out this awesome pic of him. He is tiny - just a little cricket (my nickname for him) but he is full of personality. He loves to play basketball - he's a natural athlete. He has a drum kit and evidently received a guitar for his most recent birthday (last week). He has a big brother named Levi. Levi is smarter than a kid should be allowed to be. He also plays piano and sings. They both work hard at memorizing scripture. They are both eagerly anticipating a brand new baby sister sometime in the next year. They and their parents (Cory & Crissy) are adopting a little girl from China. They are in the waiting phase of the process. They've just been informed that the wait time could be up to 24 months which means that instead of Nov. 2007, it looks like it might not be a reality until late 2008. They will have to re-do a lot of the paperwork they've already done because it will expire before the adoption goes through. This is a lot of extra time and energy and expense for them. I know it will be worth it all in the end, but if anyone wants to add this family to your prayer list, please feel free to do so...Cory, Crissy (my youngest sister), Levi & Luke would love to welcome Faith home sooner rather than later. Pray for God's favor in the adoption process and for their faith not to waver but to become stronger and for their love to grow as they wait.
