This whole week we've struggled to get back on our regular schedule. It's actually been nice to have very little structure to our days. We've all been waking up at 4:30am. It's difficult to go back to sleep so we get up, eat breakfast, do a few chores, then at about 6am, we crawl back into bed for a short nap. By 8pm we're tired so we go to bed early and of course get up at 4:30am again. Friday was the first day I actually slept until 6am. That was wonderful.
I talked to Dan today. He is doing well. Anxious for the next team to arrrive so the next campaign can begin. He had a chance to go on a 1-day safari. He absolutely loved it. Saw lions and tigers and elephants among other creatures. I'm glad he's getting to see more of Kenya. He said it's been cold and raining quite a bit.
I'm anxious to post pictures of Kenya, but I had to leave our camera behind for Dan to use on the next campaign. So, unfortunately, I'll just have to beg, borrow and steal photos from others to post here this next week. Also, I hope to have regular posts from the Kenya team members starting next week. I think we're all just finally able to process our experience. Now we can maybe verbalize the impact and effect of the trip. So, again, stay tuned and thanks for your patience.
