It's Family Night!

It's Friday night and time to hang with the fam! Um, well, if the family was willing and able, we'd definitely hang. Steven decided that his friends were way more cool than us. He headed over to Chicago Dogs with Matt and Lydon. And then we were three. Dan is in excruciating pain from a sudden back injury this morning. He's been alternating between sitting in straight back chairs and sleeping on the concrete living floor. Not at all interested in sitting in the car and driving around while deciding what to get for dinner. He's content eating his way thru the dozen cookies from Paradise Bakery that I brought home today. And then there were two. Michael really wanted a hotdog from 2 Hippies Beach House. I'm just hungry and glad to spend time with Michael. He puts up with me taking pictures of him in public places unlike his brother. It's really windy outside...I love it! I love Michael's easy-going personality. He makes me smile and he still likes hugs at bedtime and double-stuff Oreo cookies dipped in milk at bedtime. When I look into Michael's eyes, I see so much joy, peace, and love. He enjoys the simple things in life and I can learn a lot about contentment from hanging out with him! Family Night is turning out to be pretty fun at 2 Hippies Beach House tonight!
