The Family Picture

This is it. The family picture. No counseling was necessary. It was relatively painless. The only real pain was in finding a place to park at Newport Beach.

As soon as I receive all the pictures from my sister-in-law, I will post them in an album.

The Happy Brothers

I wanted to take a picture of Michael & Steven tonight. Sounds simple, right? Well, Steven wouldn't smile. Michael smiled too big. Michael's big smile bugged Steven. Steven punched Michael. Michael punched him back (with the big goofy smile still on his face). Steven then had a mad face and wouldn't stand next to Michael. Then Dan got involved. Steven stormed out of the room. Then I tried to coax them to try again. The injured look on their faces made me laugh so the camera was shaking too much to take the picture. The laughter insulted Steven. Stormed out of the room at least 4 more times. Should it be so difficult to snap 1 picture? Should it really take 30 minutes?

I'm really glad I got this picture taken. Michael and Steven really are best friends at the end of the day. They love football. They love hanging out with Dan. They love playing X Box together. They are great fun to hang out with. They are preparing to go on a missions trip to Kenya in June. This trip is with e3 partners and will focus on planting 5 churches in addition to specific youth/children outreach events and activities. They are raising funds to go...$6400 for the two of them. It's quite a daunting task, but they've sent out 75 letters and hopefully will have a great response.
